Lan Kwai Fong & SoHo
Lan Kwai Fong is THE hangout place in Hong Kong with superb international restaurants, bars and clubs. Catering to a predominately expat/international crowd, "Lan Kwai" is perfect for after-work drinks, intimate dinners and serious partying. On weeknights, crowds spill out onto the sloping streets as they mingle and enjoy their beers.
SoHo, or South of Hollywood Road is a neighborhood lined with charming international restaurants and cozy bars. Based around Elgin Street and Staunton Street, just off the Mid Levels escalator, SoHo is the more relaxed yet funky cousin to Lan Kwai Fong. Most of the restaurants in this neighborhood are very intimate and just walking through SoHo is like touring the world. Choices include Cajun jambalaya, Cuban guarapos, Indian tandoori, French crepes and Chinese noodles - there is something to suit all taste buds.
