All of China's major
cities have good transportation networks. Aside from public buses,
there are the tour buses, mini buses, and taxis. Mini buses are
very inexpensive to ride and each passenger pays approximately 2
yuan or more depending on distance. The starting meter prices for
taxis range from 10 to 12 yuan and are easy to flag down in urban
areas.
Most hotels also have
air-conditioned tour buses and station wagons available for hire.
