Huqingyu Tang Chinese Medicine Museum
Huqingyu Tang Chinese Medicine Museum is the only museum of its kind in China. It is housed in a historical building which was once the most famous Chinese herbal medicine shop in Hangzhou. The exhibition halls tell the story of the origin, development and applications of traditional Chinese medicine, and also discusses its role in the world history of medicine. Samples of the herbal plants and a workshop where medicines are processed by hand are also on display. The museum also has a clinic, and a restaurant where food enhanced with Chinese herbal medicine food can be sampled.
