Goddess Of Mercy Temple
The Goddess of Mercy Temple is located about 5km (3 miles) south of Dali. It is also known as Big Stone Temple. The temple is believed to be built on the site where a large stone was placed by Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy, to protect the city of Dali from an invading army.
