Bird Island
Bird Island is an 800,000 sq m nature reserve in
the northwest of Qinghai Lake. The island is home to more than 100,
000 birds of different species including gulls, geese, cormorants,
pheasants and cranes. The best time to visit for bird watching is
during the breeding season in spring.
