Purple Bamboo Park

Introduction

Purple Bamboo Park is one of the largest parks in Beijing. 10 different varieties of bamboo, rare in northern China can be found in this park. With 3 connected lakes, the park is a labyrinth of paths and footbridges. Visitors to this park will be pampered by the serene surroundings of lush bamboo and shady trees, small bridges and open air pavilions. In the winter, the more active can enjoy ice-skating on the river.
