Squares in Dalian
There are some charming buildings to discover in Dalian and over 31 squares. Zhongshan Square makes a good start for any walk to explore the city as it is the hub of central Dalian and 10 roads radiate from this attractive square. Zhongshan Square is also a pleasant place to enjoy the atmosphere of the city.
Stalin Square is one of the best remaining examples of early PRC public architecture and Renmin Square (People’s Square) features a statue commemorating Dalian’s liberation from Japanese occupation.
Other squares include Friendship Square, and Shengli Square which has a shopping center, football pitch and outdoors cafes.
