The most interesting shopping district in Harbin is centered in Daoli District where there is a full range of modern department stores and markets. The best examples of Harbin’s pre-revolution Russian architecture such as the Russian Orthodox Church of St Sofia (sheng suofeiya jiaotang) are also located in Daoli.
