Terms and Conditions
Tour Price
Prices quoted are per person and are valid from
1 April 2001 to 31 March 2002. Return to Hong Kong must not be later than
31 March 2002.
Prices
for 2-5 and 6-9 passengers traveling together are on share twin room basis.
Persons requesting a single room will have to pay the single room supplement.

are subject to change without prior notice. Check with us for confirmation
of price prior to booking.

NOTE: A third adult
occupying an extra bed in a twin room will also pay the share twin price.
Reservations
Late bookings, up to 8 working days prior to tour departure can be accepted
for all tours except Tours - Beijing/Xian/Guilin, Beijing/Shanghai/Xian/Guilin,
bookings for these tours will be accepted up to 14 days prior to departure
and are subject to availability of accommodation and flights.
Visas
Tour participants should ensure they comply with all the visa and health
requirements of countries they intend to visit. Please read our Chinese
visa information page or consult Dragonair for more information. Dragonair
and chinaetravel.com will not be responsible for cancellation
fees or penalties incurred by passengers refused visas.

Refund must be applied
for within 3 months of the tour date. Unused portions of tour package
are not refundable.
Departure Days
Departure days are listed according to the schedule at time of printing
and are subject to change without prior notice. Bookings are accepted
on days of flight operation. An extension of stay (maximum of 30 days)
may be required to fit the schedule, and passengers will have to pay the
additional charges if any.
Amendments
Tour itineraries may be extended in duration and extra sightseeing tours
or side trips may be added. Please contact tours@chinaetravel.com
for details and rates.
All modifications and
extensions must be made at time of booking. Any changes after documents
are issued will be subject to an amendment fee of US$100. No changes are
allowed once travel has commenced.
Children
Prices quoted are for children under the age of 12 on the date of departure.
If two or more
children are travelling, the cost will depend on the total number of rooms
required.
An infant
(under the age of two on the date of departure) will be charged 10% of
the applicable adult airfare.

Organiser's Liability
The Organisers, chinaetravel.com and
the Tour Operator shall not, under circumstances, be liable in contract,
tort or otherwise for any expenses, damages or losses incurred or
sustained by any tour participants which arise from or as a result
of:

any act, omission,
default or neglect, causing injury, damage or loss to tour participants
or their luggage; |
| 2. |
any delay or cancellation
of flights; |
| 3. |
any changes in
the travel programmes, routes or timetables, or failure to provide
seats, or provided that in the case of such changes which result in
a decrease in the cost to the Organisers, an amount equal and limited
to such decrease only shall be refunded to the tour participants. |
Other's Liability
It is expressly declared that all the airlines concerned, their servants,
agents and affiliates are not liable, in contract, tort or otherwise (including
breach of warranty, condition, representation, duty or negligence) for
any loss, damage or injury howsoever caused to the tour participants or
their baggage during the time in transit. The passenger ticket in use
by such airlines, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between
the airlines and the purchaser of these tickets and/or the tour participants
and the tour participants shall be deemed to have full notice of the terms
and conditions of such airlines.
It is also expressly
declared that the Organisers act only as agents for the airlines or contractors
providing the means of transportation or other services during the course
of the tour. All tickets for such means of transportation or other services
are issued subject to any and all terms and conditions under which such
services are offered or provided, and the issuance and receipt of such
tickets shall be deemed to be an acceptance by the tour participants of
the further condition that the Organisers shall not be or become liable
or responsible in any way for any loss, damage or injury, accident delay,
changes in schedule, hotel overbooking or others inconveniences to the
tour participant, the property or effects of such tour participant howsoever
caused by such means of transportation or other services.
Force Majeure
The Organisers have the sole and absolute discretion to modify any arrangements,
cancel or shorten the duration of any tour in the event of force majeure,
hostilities, accident, imposition of customs or other duties of taxes,
or other circumstances beyond the control of the Organisers which render
it necessary in the Organisers' reasonable opinion that such steps be
taken. The Organisers shall be relieved from all liabilities and obligations
resulting therefrom, upon notice of the tour participants and full refund
of any amount paid for the tour or the unused portions of the tours, as
appropriate.
