Golden Guilin

The peaks of Guilin are the classic scenic image of China. Paintings depicting the beautiful limestone mountains rising out of peaceful paddy fields have attracted visitors for centuries, and it is still considered one of the world's most beautiful places.

Easy to reach from major cities in China, Guilin is simply stunning, and a cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo is a highlight of any visit. While crisp dry winter days are great for walking up the peaks or cycling through rural villages, romantics will tell you that morning mists of Fall and Spring allow you to view the legendary peaks at their most                                   mysterious and beautiful.
