Huangling is a town located 264km (164 miles) northeast of Xian. It is supposed to be the site of the tomb of the Yellow Emperor Huang Di, who reigned over 5,000 years ago. Many inventions have been credited to Huang including silkworm cultivation, weaving, brick building, boats, carts and musical instruments.
