Bell Tower
The 23 meter (75ft) Bell Tower stands in the center of Xian. The original tower was built in 1384 in a position about 2 blocks away from its present site, but alterations to the city walls changed the mid point of the city so the Bell Tower was moved in 1582. The tower was restored in 1739 and it is possible to climb the tower for a view of the city.
