Situated 4km (3 miles) south of the Shanhaiguan, Lao Long Tou, which means 'Old Dragon Head', is the point where the Great Wall reaches the ocean.
A large stone carving of a dragon's head once overlooked the seas, but today a small fortress and 2 story temple stands at the end of the much repaired wall.
