The Grand Mosque is the center of Tianjin’s Muslim community and is located at the crossroads of Xima Lu and Beima Lu. The mosque was built in the early 18th century and has a Chinese architectural style. However, the carvings in the mosque combine both Chinese and Islamic themes.
