Grand View Garden is located by Dianshan Lake in
Qingpu County. It is modeled on the gardens in the classic novel
‘Dream of the Red Chamber’, written by the Qing dynasty (1644-1911)
author Hung Loumeng.
The garden combines the splendor of royal residences
with the elegant simplicity of southern style landscaping. There
are also many structures that were designed after the residences
of the main characters of the novel.
